 What's the difference between a Nutritionist and a Dietician?
Both nutritionists and dieticians provide dietary advice to people. A qualified dietician must be degree qualified whereas an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine is sufficient to qualify as a nutritionist. Only dieticians can work in public hospitals (to give dietary advice to hospital patients). If you do not see yourself providing advice to patients in a hospital environment, consider the faster career pathway of a Nutritionist.
