back
to questions

can I commence the course?
The uniqueness of Distance Education is that students can commence

wait for the beginning of a semester or term.
back

back
to questions
What
happens if my anticipated time frame changes?
Nothing. With distance education you have far greater flexibility
with your time. Indeed, if you find you have less, or even more
time available than when you started your studies you are able to
tailor your time frame to suit your circumstances and still complete
your studies.
back
to questions
What
happens if I fail an exam or assignment?
If you do fail you are able to redo the examination or resubmit
your assignment and it will be reassessed and remarked. This process
will continue until you successfully complete the assignment for
the subject.
back
to questions
Can
I save time and costs by studying externally?
Simply put, YES! This is possible as you do not have the rigid structure
of a classroom situation, therefore you have the flexibility to
work at your own pace to complete the course. The more time you
have available to study, the quicker you will complete the course.
In addition you lose the costs and time wasted incurred travelling
to College.
back
to questions
What
happens if I am unable to complete the course?
You will be issued with a statement that represents the portion
of study you have undertaken. If you find your circumstances do
not allow you to resume studies in the future, you will not incur
any additional costs for reinstatement.
back
to questions
What
happens when I complete my studies?
Throughout the course and after completion, the College of Natural
Medicine's extensive network is available to help you with advice
on most aspects of the industry. You are not left to 'fend' for
yourself. The College of Natural Medicine believes that we are all
on a pathway of Life Long Learning.
back
to questions
Do
I have to attend seminars?
(Bachelor
of Naturopathy Students only)
Seminars
are held in each state throughout Australia and are advertised yearly
in the Institute's calendar. Should you not have a calendar, this
can be requested through Administration. To achieve the full award
(Bachelor of Naturopathy), students must attend the equivalent of
one week of residential workshops each year. All other students
may elect to attend seminars, as we believe these to be very beneficial
to your successful completion of studies. Students studying abroad
should contact the Institute Administrator for further details.
Those students attending seminars will be required to pay an additional
fee for attendance, usually $70-100 per subject.
